Blurb, the creative publishing and marketing platform that enables anyone to design, publish, share and sell bookstore-quality books, has announced its partnership with Movember, the moustache-growing charity campaign, to launch the first official Movember book, Eurotash – A Journey to the ends of the upper lip.

Eurotash showcases the European moustache in all its glory, following two young men on their journey across Europe and their encounters with all manner of facial hair. The book was created by Conor Creighton and Steve Ryan, and published via the Blurb publishing platform. Eurotash launches on 15th October 2009, and will be available in the Blurb Bookstore at, and on the Movember website at

All proceeds from the book will benefit The Prostate Cancer Charity, dedicated to fighting prostate cancer in adult men of all ages. Blurb will also give Movember participants the opportunity to create their own book highlighting their Movember experience at a discount of £5. Blurb will also support the Movember campaign by providing free copies of the Eurotash book for promotional and marketing purposes.

“We are delighted to support the Movember campaign with the launch of its first ever official book,” said Teresa Pereira, Senior Director, EU Market Development, Blurb. “The Blurb publishing platform afforded the Eurotash book designers to complete creative control at every stage of the process, helping the finished product truly reflect the Movember brand. Because the book is being sold in the Blurb Bookstore, Movember can pass the profits directly to The Prostate Cancer Charity, without any middle men. We’re thrilled to help Movember raise awareness and funds for this cause.”

Movember kicks off its second annual campaign on 15 October in the UK, rallying men to grow moustaches for the month of November to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer. Men and women can register to join the campaign at Participants celebrate their “Mo” at the end of November, attending the Movember Gala Partés in London, Edinburgh and Cornwall dressed in costume to suit their moustache and vying for the title of “Man of Movember.”

About Movember
Movember is an annual, month-long celebration of the moustache, highlighting men’s health issues, specifically prostate cancer.

Mo Bros, supported by their Mo Sistas, start Movember (November 1st) clean shaven and then have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their moustache. During Movember, each Mo Bro effectively becomes a walking billboard for men’s health and, via their Mo, raises essential funds and awareness for Movember’s men’s health partner – The Prostate Cancer Charity. At the end of Movember, a series of Gala Partés are held to thank Mo Bros and Sistas for their support and fund raising efforts.
