On one particular day I was traveling through Yellowstone National Park. I had a limited amount of time. For whatever reason I headed in one direction and I had never seen that many Elk
all at once. There were a few males and the rest were females. The prvious day the males attacked
over 20 vehicles. The rangers were understandably concerned about peoples safety. The photographs in this book were taken on that special day.

About the Author

Randy Mendenhall

Photography is my hobby. In the past I have given my photos away and people like them. So, I have decided to try to do something with them. I take photography seriously. I am almost always not satisfied with my photos initially. Usually after a couple times through them, I
feel better about them. I think it is hard to get everything right in a photograph. But, when everything does come together, the results can be amazing. If I could take photos professionally, I think I would. I also enjoy collecting antiques. Eventually, I would like to create a book tying the two together. I am still trying to figure out its focus. For now, I will stick to photography books.
