About the Book
A book for young children with colorful photos and a playful design. The plush characters are hand-made from woolen socks, giving the images beautiful texture . Izquierda and Derecha, the words for Left and Right in Spanish, tumble through a bright world of primary and secondary colors and discover one banana, two pieces of broccoli, and three carrots along the way.

About the Creator
One morning I pulled my favorite socks from the drawer and found the holes in the heels had become too big to repair. That night I sat down and created Izquierda and Derecha (which mean left and right in Spanish...I'm currently trying to learn the language). The photos followed, and then the book. I think Izquirda and Derecha have more adventures in their future, as do I. My first child will be born in April and I look forward to playing all together.
