This book is about a special time—when three-and-a-half-year-old Amaris’ brother was born. As the sun peeked over the hill, Amaris arrived at Windmill Pond. She and Nana played, baked, napped, and then played some more. All day they sang "Let's Think of Something to Do" and waited for news of the new baby. In the evening, they watched "Bright Eyes." At 8:00, Daddy called to say that Bubba had arrived, and his name was to be Nikao Makaris.
