From the Book Introduction:

The following pages will lead you through my photographic journey of the past three years. The book is divided into three main sections called OCEAN, VALLEY, and MOUNTAIN. You will see shots of great California scenery along with some other places, but there is much more.

This is my attempt to go beyond just the scenic panorama, and seek to highlight discrete elements that make the greater Northern California so unique. Sand, water, plants, animals, rocks, clouds, and the people all combine to shape the California landscape. I have spent my life exploring the treasure found in all the smaller parts that make California beautiful, spectacular and elegant through the sum of its parts.

These photos tell a story of where I have lived most my life. This is the California I know, and may differ from another Californian's.
