The ARTcart is an ongoing project created by Art is Moving Collaboration team, Lisa Rasmussen and Lauren Odell Usher. This book documents the ARTcart's adventures in the Koreatown-Northgate district of Oakland, CA. The ARTcart is a movable cart that is full of art supplies. IT stops at random street corners and allows anyone to make art for free. The book includes all 650 artworks collected during the 3 month project.

Lisa & Lauren! I love the ART Warriors that you are! I had an "art cart" made back in 1997 to do much the same as you, but it was made too heavy and only made it to a couple of venues. I can't wait to see this book! Whitney
