About the Book
In 2006 I moved to Chiapas, Mexico, where I lived until early 2008. During my time there I attempted to capture what can only be described as the explosion of life and color and sound and energy and love that comprises everyday life in the small town of San Cristóbal de las Casas. Some of the photographs I took during my tenure there appear within these pages.
My hope is that the images in this book speak for themselves but at the end of the day, they are simply that and nothing more: images. Life in San Cristóbal is a constant overload of the senses, one that can only be understood and appreciated in person. This is but a taste.
