About the Book
When I was a little girl, I used to love to sit on a stool at our kitchen counter, watching my mother make dinner. She could create the most wonderful meals out of whatever she found in the cupboards and the fridge, and I still marvel at that. She has a battered manilla folder crammed full of tried and true recipes, clipped from magazines or handwritten... everything is rather sticky and covered with drips and crumbs. My own tried and true recipes are in an equally battered, handwritten black book, with many revisions and crossed out suggestions.
This book is a cleaned up version of what my mother started...
