Inspired by the beauty of the Adriatic coastline of her native Croatia, Tatjana began painting at a young age. After moving to the United States, she had her first solo exhibition in 1989. Surreal and inventive, her work combines the optimism of America with the more reflective pace of Europe. Not burdened by the need for painterly formalism, her consistent theme is the expression of joy, which infuses her unforgettable figures and landscapes.
