About the Book
I am a New York based photographer. I’ve loved photography ever since I was a young boy growing up in the South. I had many books on photography. Two that influenced my vision the most were of the Troubles in Northern Ireland and of the Civil Rights Movement in the South. When I moved to NY from San Francisco and Baltimore, I was introduced to Louis Stettner, Robert Frank, Roy De Carava, and Saul Leiter and many other great photographers . These photographers broadened my vision of the world around me. Currently, I’m work on many documentary projects that deal with the downturn in the U.S. economy . I photograph my surroundings unaltered, and capture people in their everyday endeavors of life, with respect and dignity.
