by Aurelio Zucco and Augusto Zucco
About the Book
I'M DREAMING OF A BRONX CHRISTMAS is a celebration of the many wondrous things there are to love about the Bronx at the holidays. It begins with a tour of Belmont, the "Little Italy of the Bronx," where you'll stop at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church to admire the Christmas decorations. Then you'll take in the holiday lights and festive storefront displays as you stroll past cafes, pastry shops and restaurants on East 187th Street and Arthur Avenue.
The Bronx Zoo is next on the list with its remarkable Holiday Lights Show featuring lighted sculptures of lions, tigers and zebras, among other animals, and landmark buildings, like the Keith W. Johnson Zoo Center, that have been lavishly decorated for the season.
Finally, you'll stop at the New York Botanical Garden and behold golden Christmas trees, lighted snowflakes and, of course, the magical Holiday Train Show featuring miniature scale models of trains and New York City landmarks.
I'M DREAMING OF A BRONX CHRISTMAS is a keepsake you'll treasure always!
