Nature calls me, especially birds. Art calls me, especially photography. Marrying the two was the natural thing to do. In six months of nature photography I've only had a modest taste of what Puerto Rico has to offer. There are over 300 species of birds, endemic, native and migratory; to this date I've had the privilege to photograph only a handful.

Before I forget, the name Pajarazzi, is a worge from "Pájaro", which means bird in Spanish and Paparazzi. My husband, Juan Carlos, in all his glorious wittiness came up with it a few months ago. I looked it up, no one seems to be using it, and so, for now it is why I call myself when I stalk birds.

I feel your photos capture the birds at the most interesting moments. I love the one that shows two birds as though they are having a disagreement about some matter. You vary the scenes and scenery that keeps the work fresh and enjoyable. I love taking birds and have an admiring respect for their uniqueness. Congratulations!
