My grandfather, Dr. S.D.Jouhar (FRPS) was one of the finest amateur photographers in the UK in the period 1935 to 1963.
He was invited to join the London Salon of Photography in 1944, at a time when there were less than 30 members worldwide.
He visited India for 6 months in 1959, and took many photographs, and this book shows a selection of those pictures, which I have scanned from the original slides and negatives.
