This, the final in the West coast series of AWATS shows, was a hot evening in a cold venue. Once again lovingly captured for you on film (well, sort of) by J Bloomrosen, The Illustrated Photographer.
The opening Robert Johnson set boasts some different black and white stuff (with thanks and apologies to Jim Snyder for this idea) that gets to the root of the rock and roll roots.
And of course, "A Wizard, A True Star" in all it's psychedelic glory - fourteen costume changes (take that Cher!), and a finely honed All-Star Band. A more than wonderful time, indelibly etched into a hardcover book for your keepsake and/or coffee table.
And it's a great gift! Enjoy!
