I purchased this book about a month ago and have enjoyed it thoroughly. The photographs were excellent and the text was both informative and interesting. There were several shots of iconic places, such as the Eiffel Tower, that were done in a new and very appealing way. Having been to France and Italy myself, I recognized certain places but I had never seen them in quite the same way as captured by Mr. Nesossi. I particularly like the way in which he captured the light and texture of Italy; the special warmth of both the Italian countryside and the cities was re-created beautifuly. The everyday street scenes were especially well done. I look forward to his next book and my next trip to Italy.
