About the Book
Called to Duty is a photographic series documenting volunteer firefighters from the Central New York Region in Oswego and surrounding Counties. It highlights the Ringgold Fire Company in Pulaski N.Y. but includes many surrounding departments as well. This is a tribute to those who serve us in our time of need.

About the Creator
Stacey L. Wolcott
Pulaski, NY
Stacey L. Wolcott was born February 9th, 1985 in Lockport N.Y. In 2003 she began her formal education at SUNY Oswego, graduating with a BA in Art and Anthropology four years later. She is currently working toward her MAT in Art Education, pursuing a career as an art teacher while continuing to work as a photographer. The photographic series, "Called to Duty," was first shown as a solo exhibition at the Salmon River Fine Arts Center in Pulaski, N.Y. in 2009. She plans to continue the photographic project documenting volunteer fire departments in the region.
