Jeremy Benning, csc is an award-winning freelance cinematographer, based in Toronto. He is known for his still photography that he does while on assignment as a cinematographer for broadcasters such as National Geographic, BBC, Discovery Channel, etc.

He works internationally shooting commercials, documentaries and films.

This book is a collection of nearly 120 images from 2009, representing the highlights of places visited over the past year.

Places seen in this book are as follows:

Belize, Brazil, Peru, Switzerland, New York City, San Francisco, Colorado, Newfoundland, Las Vegas, Vancouver.

The highlight of the book is the last section of images from Carnaval 2009 in Salvador, Brazil. Jeremy has photographed Carnaval there four times.

The photographs in this book were taken on a variety of cameras. The 35mm film originated images were taken with a Nikon F3 and Nikon 28Ti and 35Ti. Film stock used was Kodak 100VS cross processed as well as Kodak P3200 Black & White, and Ilford 400 XP2. All film was scanned on the Nikon 5000 film scanner.

Digital images were created with the Canon 5D Mark II DSLR.
