About the Book
Between June and November of 2009, I worked for the Bureau of Land Management in the Moab Field Office as their Fuels Monitoring Intern. During the weekends I explored the various landscapes and environments within the southern half of the state. In late August, a Pentax k20d dSLR camera came into my possession as late graduation present. With the exception of the cover (hence the poor quality), this book is a compilation of photographs I took while teaching myself digital photography with that camera. If the lack of subtitles on the following pages confuses you, I urge you to take an extended vacation to Utah and discover the stories within the images yourself.
