About the Book
This book showcases the work of more than 30 talented young people across Liverpool, trained
in photography by international charity PhotoVoice in workshops run across the city throughout
the Summer of 2009. Their photographs show the city of Liverpool, and the experience of
living in it, from the perspectives of young people who seldom have the opportunity to share
their thoughts and attitudes with the wider public in Liverpool.
The photographers featured in this book include young people with learning diffi culties who
attend Prescot Drive Short-Breaks Unit, and disabled young people across Liverpool who took
part in workshops run in partnership with The Fusion Project.
