I read your book as soon as I bought it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Your mother and Will were right, you need to be writing to help others. This book gave me some insight as to what my son had to endure. You are truly an inspiration to others. Your poem "He Stood By Me" is a true love story. You are fortunate to have such a wonderful husband that was understanding and loyal. The tough times bring out our true character. Your faith and support system helped get you through a very difficult time. I especially enjoyed the final chapter of reflections. Our news letter at our church has a section where anyone can submit words of wisdom. Would it be alright for me to send in your poem titled "Welcome"? I loved that message and could truly relate to it.

I read your book the next afternoon after I got it from you. It is a great story. I didn't put it down til I was finish except to fix Bill something to eat before he went to work. I didn't realize what you went through til I read it. It brought tears to my eyes. I sure hope you stay healthy.
