About the Book
Doors and windows are frequent subjects of photographs. The simple reason for this is because doors and windows are everywhere. They come in a wide variety of designs, configurations and colors, creating endless photographic opportunities.
But on a deeper level, doors and windows are much more than just ready photographic subjects. Doors and windows surround us, and we interact with them virtually every day. As a result, we immediately relate to them when we see them in a photograph.
This book is a collection of my black and white photographs of doors and windows that I have created over the years. They represent gateways to new opportunities - openings - to future possibilities.
