About the Book
A collection of photographs from Scotland, showing various aspects of a scottish autumn from scenery to fungi and lichens.
Born in 1956, brought up in Cambuslang, Glasgow. Enjoyed a happy childhood with one brother, and various pets. After finishing further education I worked at the West of Scotland Agricultural College in Ayr for 12 years, before a change in career, and started working as a seasonal Countryside Ranger in the west of scotland. I had a five year stint as an Environmental Education Officer with a charity on the Forth and Clyde Canal before returning to being a Countryside Ranger. I now run my own Pet Services business, which means that I can set my own hours, and stop to take photographs while I am 'working' if I wish!! I started taking photographs at a young age but it was not until the digital camera became a handy size that I took a real interest in taking photos - and I normally have my camera with me, in a pocket or bag, at all times.
