Joseph Arduini has been an organic gardener for over 70 years. His garden yields many types of produce—but he specializes in garlic, hot peppers and tomatoes. The garlic plants are grown from bulbs imported from Italy. Joe has always used natural and organic methods for gardening. He designed his own irrigation system to recycle rainwater. Using barrels he collects runoff from his shed, and then distributes the water as needed with an electric pump. The soil is nourished with his own compost and is pesticide free. Joe believes the foundation of any great recipe should always be the finest natural ingredients.
