Along with the heroes and heroines of the world's great stories, we are born out of mystery -- that same mystery out of which the universe itself comes forth. This book presents reflections on the spiritual journey which all of us take in the course of our living. It relates that journey to the hero journey, as presented by Joseph Campbell, the the ceremony and culture of the Navajo, to some of the festivals of Christianity, and to the challenges facing the peoples of the earth today.
