Craig Simmonds currently works as a photographer based within the South Wales area in the U.K. Engaged in the evolving field of documentary photography his works are based upon a single subject to form the body for each series. Photographed meticulously, each distinct image is formed to preserve a uniform appearance across each series of work.

"The photographic work consists of industrial and contemporary works, usually capturing monochromatic scenes that are built up of structural subjects. Motivated by my own visual desire and our current lifestyle, my photographic practice offers me the opportunity to create scenes that often are unoccupied and futile, with the meaning frequently abstruse. My design background is reflected within the work with careful composition applied to the subject photographed."
