I first became involved in photography at age 11 in a B & W darkroom, working for the school paper. I have been freelancing as a writer and photographer since 1985, first in stock photography, then assignments, then writing and photography combined, mostly for the editorial market. From there I branched out into corporate work, marketing and PR, and then authored several books, including a novel written under contract. More recently I have expanded into design work, video and audio. If it has to do with communication, then I consider it my field. I am self-taught except for the NYI Photography Course.
I now live in Seattle, Washington, with my wife (and partner), a talented and experienced graphic designer, photographer a

OK, I'm posting again. I received this book last night. I spent the evening savoring each photo. It is seriously gorgeous, includes written history blurbs, and tells a beautiful story. Note: I am not a friend, nor did I even know that David and Georgiana were professional photographers before I bought this book. It is simply that good. I make photo books too. Mine are nice. Their book is Rizolli publishing quality.

This is a new version of the same book. Unfortunately comments from the previous version do not transfer automatically. I have had to copy and paste them here.

I am in awe of this book. There is nothing in the mainline published world that can touch it. I'm off on a professional photography tour of Machu Picchu, Cusco, the Sacred Valley and surrounds in May and this will be my bible. Yes, it is $98. It is worth every dollar. Great work David and Georgianna. You have created a true treasure. Patricia
