The Pattern Book is comprised of 300+ images from my library. I selected the images by promising myself not to look for patterns by any specific template, selecting images satisfying my basic instincts and appreciations and then afterwards looking for patterns within the collection itself. It starts off with Man-n-Nature comprised of images suggestive of the relationship of man and his environment and distinguishing between human and natural patterns and the notion of man experiencing his environment. In the second section Man-Made Patterns I present mankind as pattern-maker acknowledging his artistry, orchestration, chaos and the sometimes the inane. Natural Patterns is extended into subsections entitled: Water, Stone and Cave Patterns. Likewise Urban Patterns addresses in the subsections: Structures, Nautical and Bridge Patterns.
