On The Waterfront presents a compliation of paintings of beach scenes by Thomas L. Tribby, a Florida based artist. The work spans a period from 1979 to 2007 and includes Lifeguard, the painting exhibitied at the 2007 Societe Nationale des Beaux-Arts at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.
Tom Tribby is a highly admired and celebrated professional painter, scuptor and printmaker. Tom lives and works in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he has his studio. He has gallery representation in Florida and Massachusetts and relationships with several publishers nationwide who produce prints-on-demand and limited edition lithographs. He has participated in juried and invitational shows in Florida, California, Arizona, Georgia, Wahsington DC, New Yorlk and France In December 2007, Tom had the honor of being one of nine painters in the American Delegation at the Societe Nationale des Beaux-Artes exhibition, known as the Paris Salon, at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. This was the first time in the hundred plus year history of the exhibition that an American Delegation was invited to participate. The following month, January 2008, Tom received from the Design Center of the Americas, DCOTA, the prestigious Stars of Design award in the category of Art.
