Before leaving Australia for 5 months, photographer Anthony Evans had several spots on his "must-see" checklist of South America. Iguazu Falls, the Salt Lakes of Uyuni, Lake Titicaca, Macchu Picchu, The Lost City in Colombia, The Amazon and Christ the Redeemer in Rio. However, as tends to happen, it was all the wonderful moments in between these must-see locations that provided the colour, energy, life, craziness and character of this amazing place.
This is a continent where people live in the most diverse conditions - in the driest of deserts and the wettest of rainforests, the most overwhelming cities and remote villages, the most sublime beaches and rugged mountains. This is a continent like no other. We hope you enjoy this ecclectic collection of photography from Anthony Evans.
"It is beautiful. I really enjoyed the exchanges which took place in it - the contrasts between the pictures on each page and then between the pages." Alexe Hamilton, Victoria, Australia
