About the Book
Monuments and most landscapes do not change much, but people do. Faces express more about a country than stones.
The picture-taking is minimalist. After years of F* (* means 1, 2, 3) Nikon cameras, I found out that the equipment is less important than the subject. Could be a Khodack (never could spell it right) disposable camera, an obsolete argentic or whatever.
No flash, no trick, no preparation involved. The best shots are 100-millisecond decisions.
And also, no post-processing. Photoshop is forbidden.
Indeed, the cultures are around: The pictures have been taken in Israel, Switzerland, France, Germany, Russia, China (Tibet), Nepal, Tunisia, Argentina and Chile.
