On a 2009 trip to London, graphic designer Charles Hively recorded his impressions of the city in a totally random fashion. Holding his Lumix DMC-LX2 chest-high at a 30-degree angle, he snapped photos every few seconds as he walked down Wardour Street on his way to the Piccadilly Line tube station. All images are reproduced as taken in the exact order they were shot; only minor color adjustments were made. Limited Edition.
Charles Hively is the founder, editor, design director and publisher of 3x3, The Magazine of Contemporary Illustration. 3x3 is a publication of Artisanal Media LLC which also publishes Creative Quarterly, The Journal of Art & Design. HIvely is an award-winning art director and graphic designer, a member of the Society of Illustrators, Society of Publication Designers and AIGA, his work has won numerous awards from these groups in addition to the Art Directors Club, Addys, Clios, the One Show, Communication Arts, Applied Arts, HOW International Design Annual, Print Magazine as well as being featured in the AIGA Design Archives.
