About the Book
"Fusion is a work of paradoxes. The human forms are realistic, natural, very much alive, but they do not truly come to life until overlaid with images of the mundane, the fabricated, and the lifeless. The juxtapositions are sometimes deeply beautiful and sometimes merely fanciful. But in each case, the synthesis defies easy explanation. Life is given color by that which is not alive. The eye lingers in these photographs, searching for metaphor being happily confounded. What we are left with are images whose combinations create something wholly other; and that, paradoxically, is both frustrating and cause for celebration."
