This 240 page bilingual book (in English and Chinese) follows a journey around the Mediterranean Sea (Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Malta) by thirteen members of our extended family. Some of us are Chinese-Americans, some are Jamaican-Americans, some are Chinese living in China, and one Chinese-Australian. For a few of us this was the first time meeting each other; the journey was a cross-cultural family celebration while enjoying the splendid scenery, ancient treasures, and bustling life of the Mediterranean. The trip was conceived as a gift to our parents' generation to celebrate family and their life achievements. Everyone contributed unique talents to make the trip a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. We would like to share our candid impressions of these exotic shores with our friends and fellow travelers.
