"In 2007, we had the opportunity to live in the Middle East. We decided to leave our comfortable Latin-American home, friends, food, and the greenery of the Andes to explore this new world.During two years we embarked on a journey of learning about Arabia and its people, believing that this region has more to offer to our western eyes than modern buildings, gigantic shopping malls or fancy restaurants. Quickly we started to discover amazing places off the beaten path, which allowed us to appreciate this intriguing, unknown and sometimes misunderstood part of the planet.
This collection of photographs tried to capture the most interesting aspects of this journey from our western mindset."
