Photos resulting from two visits to Paris, once in late winter, the other in spring, taken by a professional photographer.
Born in Santiago, Chile of English parents I was blessed with dual citizenship (British and Chilean) and two languages (English and Spanish). School in England was followed by a career split equally between the USA and the UK with numerous international assignments.
I first became involved in photography at age 11 in a B & W darkroom, working for the school paper. I have been freelancing as a writer and photographer since 1985, first in stock photography, then assignments, then writing and photography combined, mostly for the editorial market. From there I branched out into corporate work, marketing and PR, and then authored several books, including a novel written under contract. More recently I have expanded into design work, video and audio. If it has to do with communication, then I consider it my field. I am self-taught except for the NYI Photography Course.

I returned to Paris last year after some 40 year absence. I did not have the leisure to take pictures to my heart's content having my family with me. Some of your shots are poignant reminding me of a place in time. I too long to return and take more pictures of a place I mostly knew as child. Thank you for putting all those images out.
