As an actress E. Katherine Kerr won an Obie for Cloud 9 and was twice nominated for a Drama Desk award. Her roles in films include Harriet Tollman in Songcatcher, Congresswoman Grace Comisky in Suspect, Gilda Schultz in Silkwood. As a writer, her play, Juno’s Swans was presented at TAW and subsequently at Second Stage in NYC. Her play, Intelejunt Dezyne,was presented as a benefit at TAW, produced at Fairfield Theatre and has been optioned. A third play, The Edge of Chaos, has been under development at TAW. .
She teaches acting in NY and conducts a two-day workshop called The Creative Explosion.
