In the build up to the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, Essex County Council commissioned eight artists to 'Adopt an Athlete' and create an artwork that marks their Journey to the Podium or at least to the 2012 Games.

This book is a collection of the small sketches I made and photographs I took during the project.
