About the Book
These series was taken in one of Europe’s busiest shopping districts [Oxford & Regent Street] and intents to capture the vigorous spirit of HIGH STREET shoppers as they interact with vibrant windows and typographical persuasion; These results in sprinkled details of accessories and textures reacting to the walking movements of individuals.
This body of work showcases a visual research on the “infamous” long shutter speed technique and explores the possibilities of a traditional process combined with creative movement interventions.
The indefinite results reflect the fast paced times of the 21st century while iridescent colors translate the visual amalgam and rising of the digital era. It’s an interactive technique that appears to infuse photography with [e]motional and dimensional depth, without making use of digital manipulation.
