'It is our imperfections that make us unique and beautiful'
The native Americans believed with dancing and chanting they could communicate with their deceased ancestors. I feel poetry, lyrics, music and song gives us some kind of connection to the spirit world, this is why one song can have such an impact on our lives (it brings out a spiritual connection to a time or place). When someone is touched by my words this is a fuel for me to look deep inside and write passionately with words from my heart and soul.
