My adventures on the streets of London continue, taking me from the West End via the heart of the City as far as suburban Cockfosters on the very edge of the map. On this, my third journey into London, the dice decided on chance tactic number two - my day was to be under the influence of the colour red. Red, my favourite colour - the colour of passion, danger, and anger. Red - love it or hate it, impossible to ignore - anyone wearing red incites attention. I decided to let red take me by the hand and lead me wherever it would take me by following people wearing an item of red clothing.

Through my camera viewfinder I observe the daily and seasonal nuances which alter our domestic, rural and urban spaces. I usually prefer to take my inspiration from life as it unfolds, seeking to frame the mundane stuff of daily life in unexpected ways and creating fresh perspectives on the everyday.
I have a particular interest in photographing the urban landscape, incorporating chance elements and exploring the nature of serendipity, coincidence and connections. The images are then combined into sequences in book form to emphasise the underlying relationships between the apparently random and haphazard, celebrating the accidental and the spontaneous.
I am a recent graduate of the MA Photography course, de Montfort University, Leicester.
