Using the physical and philosophical construction of the Addison’s new Museum Learning Center as a metaphor, this adventurous Masters in Education research project explores the museum’s critical, collaborative, reflective, project-based educational approach in a dynamic, visual-textual, flipbook format.
I directed the education programs at the Addison Gallery of American Art from 1995-2012. This book is the embodiment of a two-year Masters in Education collaborative research project made as a building expansion project was underway. I am currently Deputy Director for Learning & Engagement at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum.
