Mary Ann Coleman is a young African American woman living in the 1950's and 1960's with hopes and dreams. She wants Love, Money and Success. She encounters the difficulties of having it all. There is a price to pay for such luxuries. And not always with money.
Her strong Southern Baptist upbringing will challenge her to either conform to society or to set her own pace in a changing world. Will she allow culture and tradition to determine her future? After all, isn't Love suppose to be blind?
