Follow the Adventures of AppletiniMan in this photojournal record of a January excursion through Scotland; Glasgow, Edinburgh, Hogmanay, Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness, Dornoch, Portree on the Isle of Skye, Oban, Loch Awe & Dalmally. Visit frozen beach & golf course, fluffy sheep & highland cattle, rock walls, striking castles, churches, cathedrals & vistas. We've included a couple of recipes for favorite foods we enjoyed in Scotland, Banoffee Pie and Cullen Skink. It's a beautiful country, with charming people.

Jan has enjoyed photography since having a darkroom in the cellar as a teen, and was among the first to jump on the digital image bandwagon, with a wonderful Epson Photo PC, followed by the cult classic Olympus Camedia C2100 Ultra-Zoom, and more recent wonderful cameras. Jan has sold her photos in an array of formats at craft shows and in art shops.
To support her photography habit, her 4 kids and other various hobbies such as gardening, cooking, knitting, sewing, crafts, hiking, biking, pets, and more pets, Jan also found rewarding work as a science professor and in related professional pursuits.

Love your book! I would have loved to be along on your journey. I can practically smell the peat fires, the Cullen skink and banoffee pie! Great photos. I especially like the one of the blonde in your coming home photos!
