A collection of home cooking recipes which do work, with accompanying photographs of the actual meals in the recipes. There are enough recipes here to give two weeks of main courses plus a selection of starters and deserts to serve alongside them as and when it pleases. Each recipe has an associated rhyme to go with it.
Originally from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, I held various positions spanning 32 years in both general and mental health nursing. During the later years, I co-wrote scripts for the Trust’s Christmas pantomimes. My first published work appears in 'Voices’, a book to mark the closure of the former West Riding Pauper Lunatic Asylum, latterly known as Stanley Royd Hospital. I took some of the photographs in this publication. I have also written and illustrated 'Poems From Walton', published by AuthorHouse 2006.
