This book presents 63 different species of birds, recorded in Greece, at least once, in wild state.
It also presents the locations where the photographs were taken, mainly wetlands, over a period of several years. Some of these locations are protected under the Ramsar Convention (Iran 1971).
At the end of the book, there is a list of the birds with scientific information for each of the species.
A substantial number of the 143 photographs of the book, have been awarded FIAP gold medals and other prizes in local and International competitions and have been published in several Magazines, calendars, etc.

George, Thanks for your kind words on my first attempt at a book. Yours is spectacular. Great quality and clarity, with a simple straightforward layout. To answer your question about how I get so close, I use two main lenses. 100mm-400mm and a fixed 800mm both with a 1.4 converter often. Some are hand held and some are tripod. Thanks for your comments. John

Great book George! I myself got into a bit of birding within the last week or so and I am seeing some great shot in your book. I plan to pursue more bird photography and your book is an inspiration.
