About the Author

Glenn LeBlanc
grleblanc Oakland, Maine
Putting on my hiking boots and setting out to photograph the natural world around me has been a passion of mine for over thirty years. Through my photographs I try to convey my fascination with the constantly changing light, colors, patterns, and textures in nature -- whether it's the forest, the rocky coast, a pond, or a mountain stream in Maine or the high peaks, massive canyons and otherworldly desert landscapes of southern Utah, northern Arizona, and the Mojave Desert.

WONDERFUL PHOTOS: I have been to most of these places in the western US and taken many photos, but none as good as these (well, maybe one or two at most )
