About the Book
A book of documentary photographs showing the town of Rock Hill, South Carolina, in the early 1970's, before a federally funded "beautification" program demolished everything.
Mara Kurtz is an award winning photographer, photo illustrator and graphic designer whose work appears in many publications, including Metropolis, New York Magazine and The New York Times. She an Associate Professor at Parsons School of Design, School of Visual Arts and The New School University. Mara was President of the Type Directors Club from 1996-98.
