This book is a literary representation of my own process of rebuilding. Affected powerfully by a brutal act of domestic violence, the woman that I once knew became fragmented and unfamiliar. During the time of these writings my identity was being defined anew. These words were my only access to the grief, anger and self-blame that ensued, often portraying the disjuncted, abstract nature of my search for meaning. This survives as evidence of my struggle and internal process of self re-discovery.
