Jill Carter, Visual Artist, was invited to take a collection of dolls "my daughter never played with them...some of their elastic bands have perished...I know you will take care of them". This 36 full colour photobook journals a procession of the dolls into the Wiltshire rural landscape.
I am a digital storyteller. I love creating journals and badly behaved short run or one off art books/bags/bundles crammed full with quirky drawings, insightful and humorous text, photographs and archives of curios and found objects. As a visual artist, fine art trained, my practice explores how art can develop insight and inspiration, inspire creativity, acting as a catalyst for positive change, creativity and well-being. A natural chronicler, collector and curator, I enjoy playful, poetic and performative ways of responding to people, places and life.
