In the past 4 years, I made 4 trips to east Africa in the sole pursuit of fine art photographic images of the people, landscapes and wildlife of this exotic land.
July of 2006 marked the first time I began sharing these images with the public and I have been delighted by quickly becoming recognized for my art, with numerous awards and exhibitions.
I approach my digital art from a "minimalist" perspective, feeling that less is often more when capturing the essence and subtleties of nature. Digital editing is generally done minimally to convey with accuracy what I envisioned as I released the camera's shutter. Some editing may be done to manage broad tonalities that the eye can see, yet the camera is still unable to capture accurately.
